Maintenance Technician III

Pay and Shift

Pay: $28-$36per hour

Shift: 1st Shift 7:30am – 4pm

General Duties

Monitor and remove waste from production workstations and dispose of materials in the appropriate waste streams.

Sort scrap materials and load designated trailers using a forklift.

Sweep and maintain production areas, exterior grounds, and the area surrounding the sawdust trailer.

Perform general facility housekeeping and maintenance to ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Assist with preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities as directed.

Support the installation, repair, and upkeep of facility equipment and property.

Assist with painting, minor building repairs, and other general maintenance projects as assigned.

Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE and maintain a safe work environment.

Support other team members through collaboration and communication.

Day-to-day direction provided by supervisor.

Requirements And Disclaimers Preferred Qualifications

One year of maintenance or facilities experience preferred.

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

Physical Requirements

Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, and twisting throughout the shift.

Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
