Substitute Teacher
Requirements:
- For day-to day Substitute Teachers, must have a Current State of Illinois Substitute Teacher (SUB) License or Professional Educator License (PEL)
- For Long-Term/FMLA Leave Subsitute Teachers, must hold a Current State of Illinois PEL
2026-2027 Substitute Teacher Pay Rates:
- $160 daily rate
- Long-term Substitute Rate - calculated at BA + 0 on the current Teacher's Union Salary Schedule
Bonus:
- $750 after 75 full days worked
- $1,050 after 105 full days worked
