Senior Software Engineer

Senior Software Engineer - positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Livonia, Michigan). Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the aforementioned worksite. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance from the worksite. Engineer and deploy production-quality code for scalable software solutions within a serverless, microservices architecture. Enhance existing testing platforms and continuously improve test automation strategies to ensure high-quality deliverables. Foster a culture of software craftsmanship within the team, promoting best practices and continuous learning. Collaborate closely with multi-skilled teams to deliver innovative commercial and fleet software solutions that surprise and delight our customers and partner software engineers. Monitor and evaluate the performance of deployed solutions, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement. Actively engage in Test-First Development and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies. Support cloud development initiatives, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and ensuring seamless integrations with Ford enterprise systems.
