We made history and now we work to transform the future – for our customers, our communities and our families. You'll see your work on the road every day, helping people move freely and pursue their dreams. At Ford, you can build more than vehicles. Come build what matters. As part of our Human Resources team, you’ll help us attract, hire and retain the top talent we need to achieve our bold vision. You’ll play a vital role in defining, developing and maintaining the winning culture that empowers diverse individuals to work together and create the impossible. We’re seeking change leaders, talent strategists, employee advocates and culture architects to enable our teams, partners, and businesses to do and be their best. In this position... Come shape how HR delivers its most important work! The Manager, HR Project Management Office leads complex, high-priority initiatives that advance HR’s strategy and improve organizational effectiveness across Ford’s global HR organization. Working closely with senior HR leaders and cross-functional teams, you’ll turn strategic priorities into coordinated plans, bring the right people together, and keep initiatives moving from the initial problem statement through to implementation and measurable results. You’ll help leaders make informed decisions, address barriers early, and deliver changes that improve HR processes, capabilities, and ways of working. This is an individual contributor role for a strategic, hands-on project leader who can bring structure to complexity and influence outcomes across organizational boundaries. This role is hybrid in Dearborn, Michigan with an expectation of 4 days in office per week.

What you'll do...

  • Partner with senior HR leaders to identify problem statements, determine root causes, develop recommendations, evaluate trade-offs, and translate decisions into coordinated action.
  • Align teams across HR functions and regions by clarifying priorities and responsibilities, connecting related work, and managing dependencies and competing demands.
  • Establish governance and accountability, including decision rights, operating rhythms, and reporting, as appropriate to each initiative.
  • Anticipate and resolve execution barriers by identifying risks, analyzing root causes, challenging assumptions constructively, and securing timely decisions or leadership support.
  • Guide organizational change and implementation in partnership with stakeholders, integrating readiness, communications, and adoption considerations to support lasting results.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative insights to understand current state challenges, track performance, identify opportunities to improve processes, and assess business impact.
  • Uses strategic action plans to define the vision for the work and develop key milestones to deliver the work. Implements lean tools as needed to maximize value and efficiency in day-to-day project operations.
  • Keep leaders informed and decisions moving through clear, concise presentations, status updates, and recommendations on progress, risks, trade-offs, and outcomes.
  • Coordinate internal and external partners, including cross-functional teams, vendors, and consultants, as needed to deliver objectives.
  • Strengthen how HR executes its strategy by capturing lessons learned and recommending improvements to governance, prioritization, and cross-functional ways of working.
