Original job description
The following position is available for the 2026-2027 school year:
SUBSTITUTE CUSTODIAN(S)
Hired through Genesee Education Consultant Services (GECS)
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma or equivalent. · Must be able to read and understand written directions. · Must be able to express yourself both orally and in writing. · Must be honest and possess a high moral character. · Must present a neat appearance, be well-groomed, clean, and be appropriately dressed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Mop, sweep, and scrub floors and other surfaces. · Clean and renew floor surfaces. · Clean and dust furniture, showcases, fixtures, windows, doors, and related furnishings. · Wash and clean light fixtures. · Clean and disinfect all drinking fountains and lavatories assigned. · Work on ladders and scaffolds when required. · Perform other duties related to job classification. · Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor of the Building and Grounds, or the building principal.
SALARY: $14.00 PER HOUR
