Electrical Superintendent (Tier 2) - Kuwait

Provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications and local electrical codes. Prepares sketches showing location of wiring and equipment, or follows diagrams or blueprints, ensuring that concealed wiring is installed before completion of future walls, ceilings, and flooring. Superintendent - Possesses all of the foreman skills, having verifiable minimum experience and/or holds and accepted certification, license and/or degree. Usually considered the most experienced, highest skilled professional in their respective field and possesses very good supervisory skills. High school diploma / GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and six (6) years to nine (9) years related experience. Requires the job knowledge, skill level and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions. To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee will possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as necessary to perform assigned job functions. Journeyman or Master license/certificate or equivalent is required. Must be a U.S. Citizen Performs electrical inspections, maintenance, and repair services at the facilities at AASAB and at JSSD-K. Provides preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical distribution and ancillary systems, lighting (both interior and exterior), grounding systems, motor and motor control circuits, receptacles, and panels.
