Substitute - Athletic Trainer

Substitute Athletic Trainer Florence Township Memorial High School 2026-2027 School Year Start Date: August 10, 2026 Salary: $55.00 per hour Florence Township School District is seeking a qualified Substitute Athletic Trainer to provide athletic training coverage for practices, games, scrimmages, and school-sponsored athletic events on an as-needed basis.

Requirements:

• Valid New Jersey School Athletic Trainer Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Education
• Valid New Jersey Athletic Trainer License issued by the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners/Athletic Training Advisory Committee
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Ability to provide support for injury prevention, emergency care, athletic documentation, and return-to-play procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively with student-athletes, coaches, parents/guardians, administration, and the school physician, as appropriate
• Must pass a criminal history background check
• Appointment is subject to Board of Education approval

Preferred:

• Prior experience working with high school athletic programs
• Flexible availability for after-school, evening, and occasional weekend events
