Title: Fleet Support Specialist Locations: Dallas TX, (Onsite) Employment Type: Non-Exempt, Full-Time Compensation: $22.50- $24.50 per hour + Plus full benefits (eligible Day One) Who We Are

Flexcar is completely reimagining car ownership. Buying a car is expensive, and leasing locks you in. So, we created a better way: flexing. Flexcar gives people their own car with one monthly payment that includes insurance, maintenance, roadside, and registration, plus the freedom to swap, keep, or return it as life changes. It's more affordable, more flexible, and more enjoyable than buying or leasing. By combining operational expertise with technology, data, and AI, we're transforming every part of the customer journey. We're scaling fast, and we're building the next generation of leaders to scale with us.Position Summary

The Fleet Support Specialist helps keep Flexcar’s fleet legal, on the road, and safe for customers. This person supports the full registration lifecycle (verifying that newly infleeted vehicles meet state requirements, tracking expirations, and submitting renewals and retitles on schedule) and manages recall response from placing holds through confirming completed repairs. You will work closely with Avis Budget Group, state registration agencies, and site teams across all markets, communicate directly with customers, and provide status updates to leadership. Success in this role means a fully compliant fleet, accurate and up-to-date vehicle records, and recalls that are resolved quickly and communicated clearly. What You Will Do

Registration & Titling

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Flexcar, Avis Budget Group, and state registration agencies to keep our fleet fully compliant
  • Verify that newly infleeted vehicles meet all state registration requirements before they go into service
  • Track registration expirations and submit renewals or retitles on schedule so no vehicle operates on expired tags
  • Maintain accurate digital registration records and keep internal vehicle databases in sync with the fleet’s current state
  • Audit registration work submitted by other sites to catch errors and uphold quality standards

Recalls

  • Place manufacturer recall holds on affected vehicles and track them through resolution
  • Process documentation confirming recall repairs have been completed
  • Notify customers directly when an open or new recall affects their Flexcar vehicle, and coordinate next steps
  • Partner with site teams to move recall repairs and holds through efficiently

Customer & Site Coordination

  • Communicate with customers about new registrations, replacement plates, and recall actions on their vehicle
  • Ship registration materials, plates, and other items to customers and sites, including drop-offs at USPS, UPS, and FedEx
  • Manage inventory for the Fleet Support Office (plates, registration stock, mailing supplies)
  • Back up the team on vehicle checklists and conditional fee processing when needed
  • Complete other assigned tasks from team leads and managers as directed

What You Will Have

  • An ownership mindset: you work independently, spot issues early, and take action without needing constant oversight
  • Strong organization and time management: you juggle multiple tasks, sites, and priorities while staying efficient and consistent
  • Strong attention to detail: you keep vehicle records and internal trackers accurate and up to date
  • Comfortable with technology and using internal systems throughout the day for documentation and task management
  • Operational discipline: you follow processes carefully, especially around outbound mail, inventory accuracy, and recall documentation
  • A clear communicator who works professionally and effectively with internal teams, external partners, and customers
  • A team-oriented approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment where priorities may shift
  • Willing and able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
  • A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (per company standards)
  • At least 18 years old

What Tops The Tank

  • Rest & Relax! Accrue up to 80 hours of PTO your first year (increasing with tenure), plus company-paid holidays and paid sick leave in accordance with California and applicable local law
  • Save for Your Future! 401(k) with company match from day one of hire
  • Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage with eligibility on day one. Health Savings Account, Flexible Spending Account, Life and Disability Insurance
  • Drive a Flexcar! Employee discount on Flexcar services
  • Weekly Pay and Employee Referral Bonus
  • Uniforms provided
