Job Summary:

This position is responsible for operating production machinery and processing lines to complete customer orders accurately and on time. Working under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the General Laborer follows the ongoing instructions given to them to process and prepare materials, run and adjust equipment, and make sure every order meets customer specifications. The goal is to ensure product is produced quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality, while also supporting material handling and the upkeep of equipment and the building.

Responsibilities:

Performs operational duties assigned by Production Supervisor

• Operates machines by engaging controls
• Monitor and inspect the machine, and if there are any inconsistencies, communicate those to the shift supervisor

·

Processes and prepares materials assigned by the Production Supervisor and accurately assembles materials according to customer orders and specifications

·

Ensure customer orders are complete, accurate, properly identified, and ready for shipment or the next stage of production

·

Pays close attention to detail when processing materials, verifying quantities, dimensions, quality specifications, and order requirements to minimize errors

·

Operates forklifts in handling of finished goods and other duties as assigned

·

Perform general equipment and building maintenance (corrective and preventative tasks) as assigned by Production Supervisor
