Are you passionate about safety, mentorship, and making a difference in your community? Join our team as a School Bus Driver & Driver Trainer and help shape the next generation of professional drivers while safely transporting students each day!

What You'll Do:

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities
• Train and mentor new school bus drivers, including behind-the-wheel instruction
• Reinforce safe driving practices, student management, and company policies
• Support new hires through the onboarding and training process
• Serve as a role model for professionalism, safety, and customer service

Duties will include, but not limited to:

• Teach classroom
• Behind the wheel training
• Participate in monthly safety meetings
• Conduct annual driver evaluations
• Follow up on discipline reports
• Maintain employee files for compliance
• Effective communication with co-workers, district staff, students, parents, and general public
• Ability to help out with routes on short notice

Qualifications:

• Must have a Class B CDL with School Bus and Passenger endorsements and 2 years of Safety Training experience.
• Detail oriented
• Computer Skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Organized
• Ability to teach/coach employees
• Ability to multi-task

What We're Looking For:

• Valid CDL with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements
• Clean driving record and strong commitment to safety
• Minimum of 2 years school bus driving experience required
• Training, coaching, or leadership experience preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Patient, dependable, and team-oriented
• Premium pay for 19A or SBDI trainer certification up to date
