Job Title Client Tech Support Engineering - Sr Professional I

The Integrated Services Engineer is a client-facing technical professional responsible for delivering reliable, end-to-end support across integrated Fiserv platforms, products, and services - ensuring stability, accuracy, and client confidence. Integrated Services Engineers operate at the intersection of technology, operations, and client experience. This role requires understanding how systems, data, and processes work together across the Fiserv ecosystem, and using that understanding to troubleshoot issues, coordinate resolution, and prevent repeat incidents. As an Integrated Services Engineer, you will work collaboratively across teams to investigate and resolve complex client issues, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and ensure adherence to defined processes and controls. You represent the voice of the client within Fiserv and are the face of Fiserv to our clients - operating with professionalism, accountability, and a commitment to excellence. This is a product-agnostic role designed to scale across platforms and services. You will develop deep domain expertise over time while building foundational skills that prepare you for expanded responsibilities and future leadership opportunities.

What you will do:

  • You directly influence client satisfaction, retention, and trust.
  • You help translate client needs into actionable insights for product and engineering partners.
  • You ensure reliable, consistent service delivery in a highly regulated and mission-critical environment.
  • You are part of a talent pipeline - Fiserv hires for careers, not just roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional client support through clear, timely verbal and written communication.
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve technical issues and service requests across assigned products and services.
  • Log, track, and manage client interactions using established case management tools, maintaining accurate and current documentation.
  • Perform detailed issue analysis, including data validation and root cause identification, to drive effective resolution.
  • Reproduce client-reported issues in test or non-production environments and document findings clearly and thoroughly.
  • Communicate status, risks, and resolution progress proactively to clients, peers, and leadership.
  • Partner closely with internal teams (engineering, product, operations, implementation, and incident management) to resolve issues and improve service outcomes.
  • Support clients with consultation, guidance, and education on product usage, best practices, and operational procedures.
  • Understand and manage client expectations, prioritizing high-impact and time-sensitive items appropriately.
  • Own assigned client issues through resolution, including coordination across teams when handoffs are required.
  • Identify patterns and recurring issues and proactively raise improvement opportunities to leadership and partners.
  • Participate in incident, root cause, and post-incident review activities as needed.
  • Contribute to process improvement, knowledge documentation, and operational readiness initiatives.
  • Participate in after-hours support rotations and on-call coverage as required.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support team and organizational objectives.

Experience you'll need to have:

  • 0–5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, professional experience, and/or military service.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to break down complex technical issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-first mindset.
  • Ability to work effectively within defined processes, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-accountability environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and build positive working relationships.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies, platforms, and business domains.

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Experience analyzing system behavior, logs, transactions, or data flows.
  • Experience troubleshooting system integrations over APIs, including validating requests and responses, reviewing error codes and payloads, and tracing data across connected systems.
  • Experience writing and executing SQL queries, reviewing query results for accuracy and anomalies, and using findings to support troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Experience with ticketing/case management systems and structured support workflows.
  • Ability to reason through multi-system workflows and dependencies, even when issues span multiple teams or platforms.
  • Understanding of financial services, technology operations, or enterprise SaaS support is a plus.

How you'll work:

  • Core support hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET
  • Late shift rotation: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM ET (as scheduled)
  • After-hours and on-call support may be required

Sponsorship:

You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role.

Benefits at Fiserv:

  • Fuel Your Life program to support your physical, financial, social, and emotional well-being.
  • Paid holidays and generous time away policies.
  • No-cost mental health support through Employee Assistance Programs.
  • Living Proof program to recognize your peers’ extra effort with points redeemable for rewards.
  • Eight Employee Resource Groups to foster a collaborative culture and expand your network.
  • Unparalleled professional growth with training, development, and internal mobility opportunities.
  • Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance options available from day one.
  • Retirement planning including 401k match and discounted shares with the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
  • Tuition assistance and reimbursement program.
  • Paid parental and military leave.
