About the role: Sets up and operates a variety of automated machines (e.g. several different folders, Muller, die cutter or cutter) used in the production of the company's product. Responsible for the overall operation of machinery including actions such as feeding, folding, cutting, stitching of materials, adjusting settings, making minor repairs and pulling, inspecting and packaging finished product. Shift A: 5:30 am -4:45 pm Wednesday - Friday and every other Tuesday What you will be doing: - Reviewsjobschedulelistforassignedjobs,locatesthecorrectjobmaterials/ticketsonthefinishingfloorandreviewsjobspecificationsheet(s)tocompletefinishingwork.Completesset-upofassignedFinishingmachines(e.g.folder,Muller,diecutter,guillotinecutter,saddlestitcher,etc.)byloadingjobmaterialsandselectingspecificcomponents/configurations.Proficientlyoperates1ormoreFinishingmachinesperspecificationstocompletefinishingworkforassignedjobs. - Evaluatesaproductionsampleproducingproductiontoensureadherencetoclientspecificationsandqualitychecklists.Performsadjustments/actionsifnecessary. - Packagesfinishedproductincartons,boxes,orpalletsandreviewscompletedpackagingtoensureadherencetoticketinstructions,priortoroutingforshipment. - Documentsjobinformationsuchasmaterialusage/scrapandproductiontimeandentersdataintoMonarchdatabasetoprovidecosttracking/clientbillingbycostcenter.
