Position Overview

The Back Waiter / Server Assistant plays a vital role in delivering a seamless, elevated dining experience. This position supports the service team through precision, anticipation, and attention to detail, ensuring every table is executed with excellence. Ideal candidates demonstrate professionalism, a strong work ethic, and a passion for refined hospitality in a fine-dining environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Support Servers and Captains to ensure fluid, well-paced service throughout the dining room
• Assist with table maintenance, including clearing, resetting, and re-marking with precision
• Execute food running, beverage support, and guest assistance as directed
• Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and organization in all service areas
• Anticipate guest and service team needs to enhance the overall dining experience
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen and front-of-house team to support service flow
• Uphold all service standards, procedures, and presentation expectations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in upscale dining or hospitality preferred, but not required

• Ability to follow direction while anticipating service needs
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Commitment to consistency, cleanliness, and elevated service execution
