This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on organic social, including carousels, static posts, video edits, and social-first storytelling that consistently showcases and merchandises furniture in an inspiring, useful way. The role will also equally support paid social by designing statics, carousels, and video/animated assets for campaigns across platforms including Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and Demand Gen. The ideal candidate is both conceptually strong and highly executional. They can take a creative brief, develop a compelling visual direction, select and merchandise the right furniture, and carry the idea through to polished assets across multiple formats.
What You’ll Do
- Create high-quality visual content for Furniture.com’s organic social channels, including:
- Static posts
- Carousels
- Short-form video
- Short-form animations
- Product-focused storytelling

- Translate campaign strategies, content briefs, and performance insights into engaging social creative.
- Develop visual concepts, layouts, mood boards, design directions, and modular creative systems that can be adapted across formats and campaigns.
- Balance Furniture.com’s elevated editorial point of view with the clarity, speed, and directness required for social and performance creative.
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Art Director, Brand strategists, marketers, and social leads to bring campaigns and recurring content series to life.
- Select, crop, edit, and organize imagery and product assets to ensure each piece of content feels cohesive, intentional, and on-brand.
- Create and maintain reusable templates, design systems, and production tools that help the team move faster while maintaining a high creative standard.
- Adapt creative for different platforms, placements, aspect ratios, and audience segments.
- Use reporting and performance learnings to refine creative, develop stronger concepts, and inform future testing.
- Participate in creative reviews and contribute thoughtful design perspectives, feedback, and solutions.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines with strong organization, clear communication, and a high degree of ownership.
- Explore AI and emerging creative tools to support concepting, image development, editing, and production while maintaining brand quality and consistency.
What You’ll Bring
- 6+ years of experience in brand design, social design, marketing design, art direction, or a related field.

- Experience in interiors, furniture, retail, ecommerce, fashion, lifestyle, or marketplaces is preferred but not required.
What Success Looks Like
- Organic social feels more consistent, elevated, engaging, and visually distinctive.
- Furniture is presented throughout social content in a thoughtful, inspiring, and commercially relevant way.
- The team is able to produce a higher volume of high-quality static, carousel, and video creative.
- Paid creative testing becomes more efficient, varied, and strategically aligned.
- Reusable templates and workflows improve speed without compromising quality.
- Creative is consistently delivered on time and adapted effectively across platforms.
- Design leadership has greater capacity to focus on long-term brand vision, creative direction, and team development.
The Ideal Candidate You are a senior, versatile designer who understands that great social creative requires both taste and momentum. You care about the big idea, but you also care about the crop, the first frame, the product selection, the mobile layout, and whether the asset works in-market. You’re equally comfortable designing an editorial carousel, editing a short-form video, creating a paid social test, merchandising a collection of furniture, or adapting a campaign into multiple formats. You bring strong visual judgment, curiosity, speed, and ownership to everything you do.
