Busser

Famous Toastery is looking for team members that know how to work together to deliver exceptional customer service and make us Famous. A busser with us works with the service staff to ensure guests’ tables are properly cleaned and flipped.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Removes dirty dishes, glasses, and utensils as needed.
• Brings dishes to the dishwashing station and sorts as needed.
• Replenishes items at service stations.
• Assists the serving staff with table setting by retrieving items needed for the table, i.e., silverware, napkins, syrup, butter.
• Cleans tables and resets place settings after guests leave.
• Cleans in the restaurant as needed.
• Delivers food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately.
• Answers questions guests may have while at the table.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Able to multi-task and follow directions.
• Reliable.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.
