Flow Coordinator, 2nd Shift

What We Do – Accountabilities

• Reporting to a supervisor, this position will collaborate with the operations and transportation teams to plan, execute, and maintain the flow of product through the facility to maximize productivity and meet facility goals.
• Assures partnership with leadership on continuous improvement initiatives as well as reporting.

Essential Functions

• Oversee the operation of Beumer sortation system.
• In conjunction with supervisors and clerks monitor and maintain the flow of product through the facility to maximize productivity.
• Assist in the retail wave end resolution process and ensure that all waves across all shifts are being properly closed out and cleaned up.
• Monitor retail wave end pack out process to ensure waves close correctly in Beumer, WCS, and WM.
• Communicate with upper management the status of the work load flowing through the facility.
• Communicate and/or fix jams on the Beumer sorter platform
• Monitor WCS lines for potential jams across the building and communicate them to the appropriate personnel.
• Troubleshoot WCS, Beumer, and WM wave close out issues

Preferred Qualifications & Education

• Distribution Center Experience 1+ years
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Organized, detail-oriented individual, capable of working on various tasks/projects concurrently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Mid-level understanding of the PKMS Warehouse Management System, including Inventory, Shipping and Receiving functions.
• Able to work in a team environment, and also autonomously to perform individual tasks.
• Excellent attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
