Family Development Services (FDS) is seeking caring and dependable individuals to serve as Classroom Assistants in Head Start preschool classrooms serving children ages 3-4.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting teachers in daily classroom activities
- Maintaining active supervision and ensuring child safety
- Assisting with meals, learning activities, and classroom routines
- Building positive relationships with children and families
- Supporting child development, school readiness, and positive behavior
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming learning environment
