Job Duties

Read detailed prints and shop routing instructions

Read and understand basic measurement values for a tape measure to the 1/32” increment and be able to read a caliper to the .001” increment

Must be competent in the use of squares and angle measurement devices

Operate press brake in diversified work involving a broad range of material thicknesses and simple to complex bending operations

Make necessary adjustments to hold tolerances and keep the machines operating productively

Work with drawings, prints, N/C or CNC tapes, and computer programs to operate CNC, N/C and mechanical Press Brake equipment

Read, write, and edit programs as required

Plan and lay out equipment to be able to produce the required bend radius, angle, and form to the print specification

Develop and design jigs and fixtures as required

Operate tube bender

Assist running two person forming jobs

Minimum Education Required

High School

Minimum Experience Required

1-3 years manufacturing experience preferred
