As part of this fantastic team, you will offer an unparalleled level of service along with insight into the intricacies and functionality of the FactSet platform. FactSet’s business is based on 3 main pillars: Data, Software and Services. You will be part of the vital Services team that supplements the Data and Software business of our company.

Role Summary We are looking for an Associate Director, Core Performance & Fixed Income Analytics to lead our Buy-side Managed Services team focusing on our core performance and fixed income services - a hands-on people manager who combines deep expertise in performance measurement, attribution and fixed income analytics with a proven track record of leading client-facing delivery teams. You will manage a team of analytics specialists based in the United States and in São Paulo, Brazil, who run day-to-day managed services, implementations and solution delivery for institutional asset managers, wealth managers and asset owners on FactSet's Core Analytics product suite. The role requires close partnership with a diverse range of stakeholders including clients, Americas and global Managed Services leadership, Sales, Product Specialists, Consulting and Engineering.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

Team Leadership and People Management (40%)

  • Lead, coach and develop a distributed team of performance and fixed income analytics specialists across the US and Brazil, including workload planning and prioritization, performance reviews, career development and day-to-day administrative and logistics needs.
  • Drive recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members; build cross-training and succession across the two locations.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable team environment across time zones and act as the senior escalation point for the team.
  • Partner with the Americas Managed Services lead and global Managed Services leadership on capacity planning, staffing, team KPIs and the alignment of the team's work with department and FactSet business objectives.

Client Delivery and Relationship Management (35%)

  • Own the quality and timeliness of managed services delivery for the team's client book: recurring production processes, performance measurement and attribution (equity, multi-asset and fixed income), client reporting and client-specific workflows.
  • Maintain direct relationships with senior client stakeholders in middle and front office; run service reviews, manage escalations and ensure service levels and client expectations are met in a timely and effective manner.
  • Act as subject matter expert on FactSet Core Analytics and on performance and fixed income analytics methodologies; support implementations, solution optimizations and consultancy engagements where required.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product Specialists and Consulting on renewals, scope changes and new managed services opportunities.

Project and Process Improvement (25%)

  • Lead internal projects to standardize, automate and scale the team's production and client-service processes; identify and deliver efficiency gains within the team.
  • Define and track team KPIs (quality, timeliness, capacity, client satisfaction) using FactSet's internal management and reporting tools.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to channel client feedback and prioritize enhancements to the analytics products and managed services tooling.
  • Contribute to the broader Managed Services transformation agenda (strategy, planning and operating model).

Market Knowledge and Application (5%)

  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, regulatory developments and market trends in performance, attribution and fixed income analytics, and apply them to inform the team's approach to client service and solution delivery.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline required or equivalent experience
  • 11-13+ years of relevant experience in performance measurement, attribution, fixed income or portfolio analytics, with at least 3 years of experience delivering results in a managerial role
  • Experience managing client-facing delivery or managed services teams, ideally distributed across locations and time zones
  • Deep knowledge of performance measurement and attribution methodologies (equity, multi-asset and fixed income attribution, including duration, yield curve, spread and allocation / selection effects) and of fixed income instruments and analytics
  • Strong technical skills and deep FactSet product knowledge, in particular the Core Analytics suite (portfolio, performance and fixed income analytics)
  • Knowledge of financial instruments and pricing, including standard equity and bond assets as well as derivative products such as Options, Futures, Swaps (e.g. CDS, IRS, TRS) and Structured Products
  • Enthusiasm, desire and a strong sense of initiative for client service and support; creative problem-resolution skills to overcome clients' challenges
  • Strong communication, relationship management and interpersonal skills; ability to inspire confidence and maintain composure in stressful situations
  • Detailed knowledge of internal management and reporting tools
  • Experience in leading transformation through use of strategy, planning, management and analytical techniques

Beneficial Skills:

  • CFA, CIPM or FRM designation, or participation in one of these programs
  • Portuguese language skills (team members based in São Paulo, Brazil)
  • Experience with other performance and attribution platforms or with outsourced / managed middle-office operating models
  • Python, SQL or data science skills would be considered a plus
