What You'll Do - As an Initial Assessor BCBA, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive initial ABA assessments
• Complete Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) when clinically indicated
• Review medical, educational, and behavioral records
• Meet with families and caregivers to gather information and understand treatment needs
• Develop individualized treatment recommendations and clinical guidance
• Complete high-quality assessment reports and related documentation
• Collaborate with intake, scheduling, and clinical teams to support client onboarding
• Maintain compliance with BACB, state, and payer requirements
• Serve as a trusted clinical resource for families beginning services

Qualifications Required:

• Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
• Must be located in Virginia
• Active Virginia Licensure or ability to obtain licensure
• Master's Degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related field
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel for assessments throughout the Alexandria region and surrounding areas
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills

Preferred:

• Previous experience conducting ABA assessments and treatment plan development
• Experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities
• Strong clinical decision-making and family collaboration skills
