- Design and implement an extensible common information model for finance data solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries, entity-relationship diagrams, and data lineage maps.
- Support the establishment and maintenance of robust finance data governance, including data quality standards, reconciliation processes, and master data management.
- Collaborate with finance subject matter resources across service lines to define data requirements and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and insights for finance applications.
- Partner with Finance SMEs, enterprise architects, data engineering teams and application teams to define source-to-target requirements and integration patterns.
- Monitor progress, manage client expectations, and keep key stakeholders informed of risks, progress, and expected outcomes.
- Establish engineering and delivery standards that enable work to scale efficiently across Service Delivery Center teams.
- Manage delivery plans, dependencies, risks, issues and quality while maintaining accountability for commitments.
- Communicate architecture decisions, trade-offs, risks and progress clearly to senior Finance and Technology stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to use AI, advanced analytics and automation within the Finance data ecosystem while establishing the required data foundation.
Skills and attributes for success
- Leading, motivating, mentoring, and coaching engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds, including providing constructive on-the-job feedback and supporting junior consultants
- Fostering an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment
- Being accountable for the success of your team and the project’s components
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and client stakeholders at appropriate levels, supported by commercial awareness and effective relationship management
- Great communication and influencing skills
- Demonstrating in-depth technical capabilities, professional knowledge, and an interest in industry and technology
- Applying systems analysis techniques and procedures to data movement and data quality
- Proven ability to manage and deliver complex solutions and consistently provide high-quality client services
- Demonstrating an understanding of the current technology environment and industry trends, and providing recommendations for engagement and client service issues
To qualify for the role, you must have:

- Experience designing semantic/data models, data integration patterns and analytics-ready data products.
- Experience implementing data governance disciplines including data quality, reconciliation, master/reference data, lineage and metadata.
- Working knowledge of or certifications in cloud technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, or Azure
- Experience working with business, management, and technology concepts
- Knowledge of data reporting solutions, including the ability to leverage data pivoting, graphs, and charts
- Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and support the adoption and implementation of emerging data technologies
