Job Description

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Woodworking Machine Operator for a company specializing in cabinetry manufacturing. This position involves operating woodworking machinery, including CNC routers, table saws, and edge banding machines to produce high-quality cabinet components.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate CNC routers, table saws, chop saws, and edge banding machines.

• Measure, cut, and process wood materials according to work orders, blueprints, and production specifications.

• Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and defects.

• Adjust machinery, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine equipment maintenance.

• Maintain production records, organize materials, and keep the work area clean and safe.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of woodworking or machine operation experience.

• Experience with CNC routers, table saws, or other woodworking equipment.

• Cabinet-making experience preferred.

• Ability to read measurements, blueprints, and work instructions.

• Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals.

• Forklift operation knowledge required.

• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and good attendance.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive movements.

• Ability to lift and slide materials weighing 50–130 lbs.

• Team lifting required when appropriate.

• Ability to handle materials and load machinery throughout the shift.
