Warehouse Associate / Backup Driver

Pay: $20.00–$21.00 per hour Shift: First Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily shipping, receiving, inventory, and material handling operations. This position involves preparing outgoing orders, receiving and inspecting incoming materials, operating a forklift, and assisting with deliveries as needed. The ideal candidate has warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders into the system and coordinate shipping arrangements.

• Pick, stage, and load materials for outgoing shipments.

• Prepare materials for third-party shipping by palletizing and shrink-wrapping products.

• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.

• Inspect incoming materials to verify quality, quantity, and accuracy.

• Maintain accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies.

• Operate a forklift to move raw materials and finished products throughout the warehouse.

• Drive a box truck or straight truck to make deliveries when needed.

• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and maintain an organized work area.

• Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or production experience preferred.

• At least one year of verifiable box truck or straight truck driving experience within the last five years.

• Forklift experience preferred, with at least six months of experience considered a plus.

• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to verify orders and inventory accurately.

• Dependable attendance, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
