Truss Builder Location: Prineville, OR Pay: $20.25 per hour Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable and hardworking Truss Builder to join a growing manufacturing team in Prineville. In this role, you will assist in the construction and assembly of wood roof Trusses according to specifications and quality standards. This is a hands-on position ideal for individuals who enjoy working with tools, reading measurements, and being part of a team-oriented production environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assemble wood trusses according to design specifications and blueprints.
• Measure, cut, and position materials accurately.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely.
• Install metal connector plates and truss components.
• Inspect completed products for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist with material handling and other production duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous construction, manufacturing, or woodworking experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures within a manufacturing setting.
