Location: Delphi, IN Pay: Starting at $16.00/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in Delphi. This position is responsible for safely operating a sit-down forklift to move, load, unload, and stage materials throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have prior forklift experience, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to transport materials throughout the warehouse
• Load and unload trucks accurately and efficiently
• Move, stage, and store products in designated locations
• Pull and prepare orders for shipment
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
• Maintain inventory accuracy and proper product placement
• Follow all safety procedures and warehouse policies
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
• Keep work areas clean and organized

Requirements

• Previous sit-down forklift experience required
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds as needed
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
• Frequent operation of powered industrial equipment
