Shop Helper

Looking for a dependable and motivated Shop Helper to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone with basic mechanical knowledge who enjoys working with their hands and is eager to learn and develop new skills.

The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, able to follow instructions, and willing to learn quickly. Previous shop, manufacturing, automotive, construction, or mechanical experience is helpful, but we are open to candidates with the right attitude and aptitude.

Responsibilities:

• Assist shop personnel with daily tasks and projects
• Help prepare, move, organize, and stage materials and equipment
• Perform basic shop and maintenance tasks
• Use basic hand and power tools safely
• Keep the shop, tools, and work areas clean and organized
• Follow instructions and safety procedures
• Learn equipment, processes, and procedures quickly
• Provide general support to the shop team as needed

Qualifications:

• Some mechanical knowledge or hands-on experience preferred
• Comfortable working with basic hand and power tools
• Strong willingness to learn
• Dependable, punctual, and hardworking
• Able to follow directions and work as part of a team
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to perform physical shop duties, including standing, lifting, and moving materials
• Previous shop, mechanical, manufacturing, automotive, or construction experience is a plus

We're looking for someone who may not know everything coming in the door, but has good mechanical aptitude, learns quickly, works hard, and wants to build their skills. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important as previous experience.
