Express Employment Professionals is preparing to hire for a Shipping and Receiving/Quality Control position with a great company located in the Manatee County, FL area.

Duties Include:

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Compare shipment contents with purchase orders and packing slips.
• Prepare items for shipping, including labeling, packaging, and documenting.
• Coordinate and communicate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams regarding deliveries and pickups.
• Maintain inventory records and report discrepancies.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Update shipping logs, databases, and related paperwork.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. Required
• Prior experience shipping through FedEx, UPS is required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and stand for long periods.
• Previous experience in shipping and receiving or a warehouse environment is required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
