Shipping Manager

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping Manager for an established after market auto parts company in the Valdosta area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient shipment processing, maintaining inventory accuracy, supervising staff, and driving continuous operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Manage shipping schedules, carrier relationships, and transportation logistics.
• Supervise warehouse and shipping personnel, providing leadership, training, and performance guidance.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and coordinate with warehouse, production, and customer service teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and shipping procedures.
• Analyze shipping metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Resolve shipping discrepancies, damaged shipments, and customer concerns in a timely manner.

Schedule & Pay

• Full-Time Position
• Monday through Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
• Competitive pay based on experience

Qualifications

• Previous experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain operations required.
• Prior supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of shipping regulations, freight carriers, and logistics best practices.
