Original job description
We are looking for a Saw Operator for our client, a metal fabrication company. Overtime is available AND expected. Anywhere from 60-70 hours/week.
Job Summary:
Set up, operate, or tend machines to cut metal to customer specifications
Summary of Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
- Sets up and operates saw to process material to customer specifications
- Must work at a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
- Verifies dimensions of finished work piece using measuring devices
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts
- Other duties as assigned
Schedule:
- Working five or six 12-hour shifts/week.
- 3 Sat/month, rotating.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience operating handheld or table band saw is required.
- Must be able to use standard measuring tools accurately
