Quality Control Technician

$18.00+/hour | Afternoon Shift | Mon - Thurs

Express Employment is looking for a Quality Control Technician who is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and takes pride in making sure products meet quality standards.

You'll play an important role in the manufacturing process by inspecting parts, identifying quality concerns, and helping ensure finished products meet customer specifications.

Starting wage is based on relevant quality control, machining, or manufacturing experience.

What You'll Do

• Inspect manufactured parts and components for accuracy and quality
• Use precision measuring tools and inspection equipment to verify dimensions
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections throughout the production process
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
• Identify nonconforming parts and communicate quality concerns to production
• Work with production team members to help resolve quality issues
• Follow established quality procedures and customer specifications

What We're Looking For

• Previous quality control, inspection, machining, or manufacturing experience is preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and understand measurements and tolerances
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, gauges, or other precision measuring tools is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies
• Basic computer and documentation skills
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities
• Dependable attendance and the ability to work independently
• Willingness to learn additional inspection processes and equipment
