Express Employment Professionals on 99th and Fort Street is currently recruiting for a Purchasing Specialist to join a local manufacturing company in Omaha, NE!

Position Details:

• Type: Full-Time

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Location: Omaha, NE

• Pay/Salary: Up to $35.00 per hour

Job Duties:

• Serve as the primary buyer for a small manufacturing company.

• Purchase materials and components for production jobs while adhering to approved budgets.

• Source parts from approved vendors to secure the best pricing and availability.

• Monitor and manage inventory levels to support production needs and minimize shortages.

• Update and maintain part numbers and job processes as product and supplier information changes.

• Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, lead times, and order status.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Previous purchasing, procurement, or buying experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

• Strong understanding of inventory management and supply chain processes.

• Ability to compare pricing, availability, and lead times to make cost-effective purchasing decisions.

• Proficient with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
