NOW HIRING: 1ST SHIFT PRESS OPERATOR
Location: Cleveland, TN Shift: 1st Shift | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM 2nd shift 4:00p-2:30p Starting Pay: $16.00/hour Immediate Hire
Are you looking for a full-time opportunity with a consistent 1st shift schedule? We are currently hiring a Press Operator and are looking to fill this position immediately!
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Review shop orders for specifications and required materials
- Set up, operate, and maintain production machines
- Verify the material handler has provided the correct type and size of metal
- Configure equipment and calibrate gauge settings
- Recognize and inspect the condition of dies
- Set up dies according to specifications
- Inspect finished parts and verify they meet quality standards
- Report any non-conforming parts or materials to the supervisor
- Stop production and troubleshoot immediately when defects are identified
- Prevent cross-contamination of different metals
- Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines
