Pest Control Technician

Location: Conway, AR & Surrounding Central Arkansas Areas Training Location: Clarksville, AR Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with possible overtime

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Pest Control Technician to join a growing team serving Conway and the surrounding Central Arkansas area. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, working independently, and providing excellent customer service.

Previous pest control experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided to qualified candidates.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform pest control treatments and inspections at residential and commercial properties.

• Identify pest activity and recommend appropriate treatment solutions.

• Safely apply pest control products in accordance with company procedures and state regulations.

• Access crawl spaces, attics, and other confined areas as needed.

• Operate a company vehicle to travel between customer locations.

• Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with customers.

• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a professional appearance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to pass a background check, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, and drug screen.

• Previous pest control experience preferred but not required.

• Current pest control license or certification preferred but not required.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

• Comfortable working in crawl spaces, attics, confined areas, and varying weather conditions.

• Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn.

• Ability to work independently after completing training.

Training & Licensing

• Initial hands-on training will take place in the Clarksville, AR area.

• Technicians must complete a minimum of 40 hours of on-the-job training before taking the required state licensing examination.

• Candidates must successfully pass a state-required, proctored online licensing exam.

• New technicians should expect to ride alongside experienced technicians and/or the company owner for approximately 30–60 days before independently managing a route.

• Once training and licensing requirements are completed, the technician will transition to independently servicing customers throughout the Conway/Central Arkansas area.
