1st Shift

As a packer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that products are packaged and prepared for shipment in an efficient and timely manner. You will work as part of a team and follow specific guidelines to ensure that quality standards are met. Your attention to detail and ability to work quickly and accurately will be crucial in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Receive instructions from supervisors regarding packing specifications and requirements.
• Gather the necessary materials, such as boxes, bubble wrap, packing tape, labels, and other packaging supplies.
• Inspect products for any defects or damages before packing.
• Carefully and accurately pack products according to specific instructions, ensuring proper cushioning and protection.
• Seal packages using appropriate packing techniques and equipment.
• Apply labels and shipping documentation to each package.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficient packing operations.
• Report any quality issues or damaged products to supervisors.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals.
• Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a packing or warehouse environment is preferred but not always required.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic computer skills for printing labels and entering information into a database (if required).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and practices.
