North - Machine Operator - C Shift

Job Title: Machine Operator City and State: Cary, IL Pay Rate: $21.50/hour Schedule/Shift: C Shift – 6:45 PM-7:00 AM, Sunday-Tuesday and alternating Saturdays Employment Type: Full-Time

Summary:

Our client located in Cary, IL is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join their manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform inspections on molded components, complete production documentation, identify nonconforming products, and support a safe and efficient production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of inspection duties at required intervals using gauges and a microscope to inspect parts for dimensions, color, and appearance.
• Perform periodic scanning of molded components to identify defects both on and off the production floor and complete required documentation.
• Identify and isolate nonconforming production and report quality concerns as needed.
• Support housekeeping efforts to ensure work areas are clean, organized, and well maintained.
• Assemble boxes, distribute materials, and move boxes using a hand truck.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs.
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete production documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality defects.
• Previous manufacturing or plastic injection molding experience preferred; ability to work overnight shifts required.
