Job Title: Industrial Band Saw & Track Cutter Operator

Shift: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (4x10 Schedule)

Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00 / hour (DOE)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Band Saw / Machinery Operator for a manufacturing facility in Anthony, FL. The candidate will operate industrial band saws and semi-automated cutting equipment (including Bug-O track burning/cutting systems). Candidates must demonstrate precise tape measure reading skills down to 1/16".

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and safely operate horizontal/vertical industrial band saws and mechanized cutting machinery (e.g., Bug-O track cutters).

• Measure raw stock (steel, plate, pipe, or structural shapes) with high accuracy (1/16" tolerance required).

• Mark cut lines and align torches/blades to job drawings and cut sheets.

• Inspect finished parts for clean edges and dimensions; perform deburring as needed.

• Perform standard equipment checks (coolant levels, track cleanliness, blade tensioning).

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1 year in metal fabrication, band saw operation, or thermal track-cutting equipment.

• Measurement: Proficiency reading standard tape measures down to 1/16".

• Tools: Must supply basic personal hand tools (25' tape measure).

• Physical: Able to stand for 10-hour shifts and lift up to 50 lbs safely.

Schedule & Compensation

• Hours: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Mon–Thu (Off on Fridays)
