Material Handler / Forklift Operator

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour (during training), then goes to $25.00 per hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Material Handler/Forklift Operator to join our warehouse and manufacturing team. This position is responsible for moving, staging, wrapping, inspecting, and preparing finished products for shipment while maintaining accuracy, quality, and efficiency throughout the production and shipping process. The ideal candidate will have prior forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Essential Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Stage finished products for wrapping and shipment.
• Off-load products from carts and transport materials throughout the facility.
• Inspect products for quality and accuracy prior to packaging and shipment.
• Wrap finished products using vertical, tunnel, or EDL wrapping equipment.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities.
• Review shipping documentation to verify customer and order information.
• Load and unload semi-trailers and box trucks with finished products and materials.
• Prepare, organize, and stage materials for production and delivery.
• Support inventory cycle counts and warehouse inventory accuracy.
• Package finished products according to company standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform other warehouse, shipping, and material handling duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operation experience required.
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Prior warehouse, shipping, receiving, or distribution experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions.
• Ability to read and understand shipping documents and work orders.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment with varying temperatures.
• Ability to safely perform repetitive movements and material handling tasks throughout the day.
