Are you an experienced Overhead Crane Operator looking for a stable manufacturing career? A Springfield-area manufacturer is seeking skilled material handlers with overhead crane and forklift experience to support production operations, material movement, and shipping activities in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Schedule

• First Shift
• Monday-Friday
• 5:30 AM - 1:45 PM

Pay

• Starting at $19.50 per hour

What You'll Do

• Operate overhead cranes (cab-operated and remote-controlled) safely and efficiently
• Operate forklifts to move raw materials and finished products
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and production equipment
• Transport materials throughout the facility to support production operations
• Maintain accurate material movement and inventory control practices
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and operating standards
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and general material handling duties
• Support production teams by ensuring materials are available when needed

Qualifications

Required:

• Previous overhead crane experience (cab and/or remote-controlled)
• Forklift operation experience
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred:

• Heavy industrial manufacturing experience
• Steel processing, metals, fabrication, or production experience
• Machine operation experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
• Ability to lift and move materials as required
• Work safely in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Maintain awareness of moving equipment and materials
