Material Handler – Steel ManufacturingRothschild / Weston, WI$21–$23/hr | Multiple Shifts Available

Express Employment Professionals is hiring Material Handlers for a well-established steel manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on role working with heavy materials, overhead cranes, and finishing processes in a fast-paced production environment.

Schedule

• 2nd Shift: 2:15 PM – 10:45 PM

• 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM

• Monday–Friday (overtime as needed)

Position Overview

This role supports production by safely moving steel materials, assisting with finishing work, and keeping workflow moving efficiently. Ideal candidates are comfortable in an industrial setting and enjoy physical, hands-on work.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes to move steel materials (training provided if needed)

• Perform grinding, sanding, and surface finishing on metal products

• Load/unload materials and stage product for production

• Assist machine operators and production teams as needed

• Inspect materials for quality and report defects

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or industrial experience preferred

• Experience with overhead crane, grinding, or metal finishing is a plus

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently

• Comfortable working in a steel/industrial environment (heat, noise, dust)

• Strong attendance and reliability

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
