What You Will Do

• Inbound Receiving: Receive inbound shipments, inspect materials for damage, and verify contents against purchase orders and packing slips.

• Outbound Processing: Prepare outbound orders, print shipping labels, package freight accurately, and schedule carrier pickups.

• Inventory Logging: Maintain accurate records by logging incoming and outgoing shipments in facility inventory systems or digital tracking databases.

• Vendor & Carrier Communication: Coordinate directly with drivers, carriers, and internal departments regarding shipment status and delivery schedules.

• Material Movement: Stage products in designated storage bays using pallet jacks or forklifts as needed.

• Discrepancy Reporting: Flag damaged goods or shipping discrepancies immediately and report findings to management.

What You Need

• Relevant Experience: Prior experience in shipping, receiving, logistics documentation, or inventory control preferred.

• Technical & Data Entry Skills: Basic computer literacy for logging shipments and navigating warehouse management systems.

• English Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write in English to navigate shipping software, verify packing slips, and communicate effectively with drivers.

• Detail & Accuracy: Sharp attention to detail to ensure zero documentation errors on orders and packing slips.

• Equipment Knowledge: Forklift experience or certification is a strong plus (training/operating pallet jacks as required).

• Reliability: Strong organizational habits, dependable attendance, and reliable transportation across St. Charles County (St. Charles, St. Peters, O'Fallon, Wentzville).

• Screening & ID: Willingness to complete standard background/drug screenings and provide two (2) valid forms of identification upon placement.
