Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week), Flexible day schedule.

Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals of Yukon are seeking reliable and motivated Kitchen Staff to join our team. This full-time position plays a key role in supporting daily food service operations while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and teamwork. The ideal candidate is dependable, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, cooking, and plating as directed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
• Support opening, closing, and shift-change duties
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations
• Cover shifts on short notice when operational needs require
• 1 year previous food service experience as a cook or in a Food Prep position

Schedule & Availability Requirements

• Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week
• Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Weekend availability is required and non-negotiable
• Must be willing and able to cover shifts on short notice

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen or food service experience required
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
• Dependable, punctual, and adaptable to changing schedules
• Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
