We're seeking a skilled maintenance professional with strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities and hands-on experience maintaining, repairing, and installing industrial equipment. Journeyman certification is preferred, but candidates with equivalent industrial maintenance experience are encouraged to apply. The organization maintains a smaller-company culture that values professionalism, accountability, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. ## Position Summary The Journeyman Millwright will maintain, troubleshoot, repair, install, and improve industrial production equipment and facility systems. This position requires a well-rounded maintenance professional comfortable working with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, as well as machine installation, fabrication, and preventive maintenance. ## Key Responsibilities - Troubleshoot and repair industrial mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment. - Repair and overhaul bearings, clutches, cylinders, conveyors, motors, and related machinery. - Install, align, level, and relocate industrial equipment. - Safely use forklifts, hoists, and cranes for equipment installation and maintenance. - Perform welding, brazing, soldering, and mechanical fabrication. - Fabricate and maintain air, water, and coolant piping systems. - Troubleshoot and repair single-phase and three-phase electrical systems (120V--480V). - Repair and replace motors, switches, relays, breakers, electrical fixtures, and power cables. - Operate manual lathes, mills, and grinders to fabricate replacement components. - Perform preventive maintenance inspections and corrective repairs. - Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings. - Maintain accurate maintenance records using computerized systems. - Follow established safety procedures and manufacturing standards. ## Qualifications ### Required Strong hands-on industrial mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
