Location: Aurora, IL Pay Rate: $29.80 - $36.00 per hour (based on experience) Job Type: Full-Time | Evaluation-to-Hire Opportunity

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative for a growing manufacturing company in Aurora, IL. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong customer relationships.

Candidates with experience supporting customers in aerospace, defense manufacturing, or other demanding industrial environments are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer accounts via phone and email
• Provide exceptional customer service and support
• Work closely with the sales and manufacturing teams to meet customer deadlines
• Process customer orders, quotes, and return material authorizations (RMAs)
• Educate customers on products and services
• Translate customer requirements into actionable tasks across multiple departments
• Track and resolve customer issues through completion
• Validate customer requests and maintain accurate order information
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Utilize ERP software for order and account management
• Maintain a strong sense of urgency and commitment to customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Previous Inside Sales, Customer Service, Account Management, or Sales Support experience required
• Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
• Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience is a plus
• Experience using ERP systems required (Mie Trak experience highly preferred)
• Understanding of AS9100 quality processes is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• High level of professionalism and attention to detail
• Positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday
• Frequent computer and telephone use
• Occasional lifting up to 20 pounds
