HVAC Technician

This position supports assembly, testing, troubleshooting and repair of refrigeration and HVAC/R systems used in specialized mobile equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Experience with mechanical and electrical assembly techniques – must have 1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and service refrigeration and HVACR systems.
• Perform brazing, refrigeration piping, and basic electrical wiring.
• Operate refrigeration service equipment and diagnostic tools, including vacuum pumps, leak detectors, gauges, and electrical meters.
• Test and inspect systems to ensure quality, performance, and compliance with specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical instructions to assemble and modify components.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems while supporting production and engineering teams.

Require experience

• Working knowledge of refrigeration systems, HVACR equipment, and electrical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot refrigeration systems ranging from approximately 1/6 ton to 15 tons.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment
• Experience working with pneumatic and electrical assemblies.
• Experience using the following: Vacuum pumps, leak detectors, electronic gauge/manifold sets, electrical testing equipment, and hand and power tools
