3rd Shift Header/Press Operator

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00/hour DOE Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM Location: Phoenix, AZ Area

A growing metal manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Header/Press Operator to join our production team on 3rd shift. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with machine operation experience who are looking for a stable, full-time position with a reputable manufacturer.

Important: Candidates must be willing and able to complete training on 1st or 2nd shift for several weeks before transitioning to the overnight schedule.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor header and press machinery to produce quality metal components
• Perform machine adjustments and tool changes as needed
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production specifications
• Conduct quality inspections using measuring tools and gauges
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and communicate larger concerns to maintenance or supervision
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Keep work area clean and organized

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating headers, presses, or similar metal manufacturing equipment preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues
• Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production documents
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Must be reliable with strong attendance
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
