Front Desk / Administrative Assistant

Location: Camden, NJ Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift

Position Summary

A lower-income housing community in Camden, NJ is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk / Administrative Assistant to provide exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, and community partners. This position plays a key role in supporting property management operations while ensuring a welcoming and professional office environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, applicants, vendors, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails
• Assist residents with general questions, forms, and requests
• Maintain tenant files and other administrative records
• Perform data entry and update resident information in property management systems
• Assist with lease paperwork, recertifications, and resident communications
• Process incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
• Schedule appointments and maintain office calendars
• Prepare reports, correspondence, and other documents as requested
• Support the property management team with day-to-day administrative tasks
• Monitor office supplies and place orders as needed
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and company information

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous office, reception, customer service, property management, or administrative experience preferred
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and data entry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
