Forklift Operator

Express Employment Professionals is preparing to hire for a Forklift Operator/Material Handler with a great company located in the Manatee County, FL area.

Duties Include:

• Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, or pallet jack) to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
• Move materials to appropriate storage locations based on product type, size, and shipment needs.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance to ensure safe operation.
• Verify and scan incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy using inventory management systems.
• Safely stack and organize products to optimize warehouse space and workflow.
• Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures and conditions.
• Basic computer or scanner knowledge is a plus.
