Forklift Operator

Position OverviewWe are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Temporary Forklift Operator to support our bakery products wholesale distribution center. In this role, you will safely navigate our warehouse environment to move, stack, and stage palletized ingredients and finished baked goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down or stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move bakery shipments.
• Organize pallets of delicate baked products and heavy baking ingredients in accordance with inventory layouts.
• Verify product orders against pick sheets to ensure accuracy before staging for delivery.
• Maintain safety standards specific to a food-grade warehouse, ensuring strict adherence to sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active forklift certification required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating forklifts, ideally within a food distribution or manufacturing setting.
• Ability to handle products with care to prevent damage to fragile bakery goods.
• Reliability to fulfill the schedule for the duration of the temporary assignment.
