Fabricator \ Machine Operator

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a dependable and motivated Fabricator / Machine Operator to join a growing manufacturing team. This hands-on position is responsible for fabricating steel pipe and related materials, operating fabrication equipment, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Prior fabrication, welding, or warehouse experience is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate angle grinders, plasma cutting equipment, and various hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret fabrication sheets, diagrams, and measurements.
• Measure, mark, cut, and prepare pipe and steel materials for production.
• Safely operate heavy machinery, including threading equipment and fabrication machines.
• Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of fabrication equipment.
• Load and unload materials using forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe fabrication shop.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Complete required safety and compliance training.
• Assist with additional production and warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience.
• Fabrication experience preferred.
• Welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow fabrication diagrams and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic math skills, including working with fractions and decimals.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and use hand tools.
• Lift materials weighing up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Carry materials up to 80 lbs and push/pull materials up to 200 lbs with appropriate equipment.
• Work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and fabrication shop environment.
• Exposure to indoor and outdoor conditions.
• Use of forklifts, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
