Extrusion Machine Operator

Position Summary:Operates and monitors extrusion machinery to produce high-quality products according to specifications. Ensures machines run efficiently while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion machines

• Feed raw materials into the machine and adjust machine settings as needed

• Monitor product quality and perform measurements to ensure specifications are met

• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major problems to maintenance

• Perform routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance

• Package finished products and prepare for shipment

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Follow all safety procedures and quality guidelines

Skills & Requirements:

• Experience operating extrusion or similar industrial machines

• Ability to read and interpret production specifications and work orders

• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail and quality

• Ability to work standing for long periods and lift up to [insert weight]

• Willingness to work shifts as needed
